i am an idiot. major idiot. so, today was sunny out, great, i knew it would be. knew my last day here would be gorgeous, so i went and did what i had planned on doing the entire time here- lie on the beach. and it was great, really great. that is, until i realized that my legs were burnt to a crisp... 8 hour sunblock my ass. i was only lying in the sun for five and a half hours. screw you banana boat, worst sunscreen ever. *sidenote, right now i'm watching the diversity day episode of The Office... hilarious, absolutely hilarious* anyway, so now my legs feel like a furnace. i feel like i could literally roast marshmellows off my knees they're giving off such heat radiance. even my face is burnt, not as bad as my legs, but moreso than i would have liked. i look like i'm wearing bright red knee high leggings, or if you'd rather, like my actual skin color is bright red and i'm simply wearing one of those old-timey swimsuits, you know the one that looks like a t-shirt and shorts sewn together, yeah, looks like i'm wearing a pasty white one of those. let me tell you, either way you look at it, its a very sexy look. not. i should've turned over more.

anyway, it's worth it. it was all worth it. and today i got called back for a second interview, hurray! i really could use a real job soon, because after this trip i've been balancing my checkbook in my head and i'm pretty sure it's not looking too good right now. but again, it's all worth it. thank you west coast. thank you southern california. thank you san diego. thank you PB.
