dammit washington... caps lost tonight. lost a close one to the pens in overtime... again. arrrggghh. dammit. they play again monday night... and of course i have a final, won't be able to watch. seems to me like the capitals like to procrastinate... they always play a series to seven games. but they have to win monday to force a game seven, which would be in DC. but monday's game is in pittsburgh... i really really hope they can pull it out.

watching CNN coverage of the white house correspondent's dinner. he's makes a good comedian, of course, his delivery is much better than the last guy. and wanda sykes was there as well, she was pretty hilarious too... she didn't hold back. although, i'm not sure any of them can hold a torch to stephen colbert's speech a few years ago at the correspondent's dinner... that was the best.

oh, and saw avenue q today... hilarious. absolutely hilarious. the bad idea bears... so great. i can't really describe the show... i don't know how i would, except that its an R rated musical starring puppets... and its a parody of sesame street. try to picture that in your head. just finishing up my laundry... i'm home right now, what else would i be doing? and i also put some more songs on my walkman... slowly but surely. i wish i wasn't so anal about making sure all the information embedded in each song in correct; it didn't matter with my ipod, no info showed up except title and artist. now, i need the title, artist, album, release date, genre, and cover art. and i can't put a song on without that info. so i downloaded a special program that allows me to add all the information... which requires me to look it up on wikipedia, enter it, save the album cover, add that, then drag them onto my walkman and check to make sure it transferred correctly (sometimes it doesn't). tedious. i think i have about 70 songs on now... as compared to over 600 on my old ipod mini. i'll get there, and it'll be great when i do.

star trek tomorrow... i'm excited, but i'm not holding my breath. i know its a star trek movie for non-star trek fans... and i'm definitely a star trek fan. we'll see how it is
