overcast day today, damn you sun and weather, don't you know I'm on vacation? no matter, won't let that get me down. i was planning on going to the beach today, but due to the may gray that was scrapped. boo. instead, wondered around PB and finally went to Roberto's. Had the chimichanga and a Pepsi. and then felt like i was gonna explode. meant to do more wondering, but instead headed back to Q's and instantly went into a food coma. that's ok, i'm on vacation, i'm allowed to do nothing. then we went to rocky's, a locals bar that only serves burgers and fries. my kind of place, although their beer choices were rather sub-par... good thing for water, it's free anyway. the burger was good though, not wisconsin good, but for san diego, very good. i have to keep this in mind with everything, no longer in wisconsin. things that were at first odd now make sense... free smog check, yeah, that seems right (although i'm still not really sure what this is, and if it's mandatory or not). fat-free this, and eco-friendly that... sure, why not. organic soy milk... hmm, not sure i could ever get used to that one. but for the beaches, weather (well, usually) and palm trees... l'd put up with all the "organic" food. i still would like to experience an earthquake while i'm at here, i've seen everything else... day laborers at the home depot, i've walked past a hare krishna temple, i'm going to in n out burger tomorrow... yeah, an earthquake would complete everything.

angels game tomorrow, should be fun. i realize that my blog posts are pretty mundane and short lately... i'm on vacation. when i get back to wisco and have more time on my hands to write all that inspires me. and i am really looking forward to jay moving one hour earlier, i'm watching his second to last show right now. man, he is so much funnier than letterman. so much funnier.
