this subtracting two hours from my laptop time is really getting to me, back home it's 12:16- my usual blogging time. and it's already tomorrow. but not here, not in the golden state.

today was spent wondering around PB. i went the wrong way and ended up walking around the bay, and back around the bay, until i made it to the beach. ahhh, the beach. glorious. tomorrow i think i'll bring a beach towel and lye on the beach. stopped in a couple skate shops, looking for some cool Vans, i'm guessing the really cool ones are out here somewhere. overall, a nice relaxing day walking around PB. had ice cream for lunch (you can do these things when you're on vacation) on the boardwalk at a place called Big Olaf's. Sounds more like an ice cream shop in minneapolis as opposed to san diego, but whatever, i'll take it. then walked by a 7/Elven and stopped in to get a Slurpee. i got addicted to slurpees out in DC, there was one practically hooked to my freshman dorm. so i was all excited to have a slurpee and i don't know if the slurpee machine was busted or what, but it was liquid slurpee and it sucked... i had two sips then threw it out. hardly a loss. tomorrow, i will go to Roberto's, and stop at the fight shop i noticed on Grand.

i heard today that my favorite pub, nay, the only bar i frequent in shorewood burned last night. I hope it is rebuilt, not just for the amazing chicken nachos, trivia, darts, and abundant pints of 1664, but because it is the only place i gather with friends in milwaukee. it was a nice, not crowded bar with great beer on tap. the same cannot be said for many other places in milwaukee, and it was nearby. dammit, that is unfortunate. good thing i'm in san diego, soften the blow.

oh, and i heard back from my old friend from high school, i think i'm gonna head up to LA on friday, still have some logistics to figure out, but should be simple. i'm really looking forward to catching up.

that's all, time to relax, watch a little leno tonight, and sleep for another exciting day tomorrow.
